Face masks have become our new normal. But sometimes you have to take them off to take a drink or a photo. So why is Jason Aldean getting some much hate for this?
You see, Aldean took his family to Disney World. And they he wanted to share his visit with the world on social media. It was a cute family pic! But people had something to say about them not having masks on in the photo.
One commenter wrote, "[Where] are your masks? Everyone is required to wear them?... Who do you think you are? I’ll never buy your music ever!!!"
Really? That's your response to it?
Jason quickly responded, "Chill out lady. They are in our pocket. We took them off for 5 seconds to take the pic. Believe me, Disney didn't give us a 'free pass' not to wear them. We had them on all day just like everybody else."
Even though the original posts by Jason and his wife were deleted, the photo lives on through another poster's Instagram:
Most of us would have done the same thing as Aldean. Take the mask off to snap the pic. But people can't leave well enough alone. They were social distancing and outdoors. No harm, no foul, right? Let's work on being more kind and less critical of others. That's all I have to say about that.
